Quincy is now 2 1/2 years old and growing up way to fast for this Momma. He LOVES all things that go with the FARM, horses esp (Poco) which is Papa's but we won't tell, cows (Oreo-his very own/first heifer), and tractors. He is a big helper with Jazmyne and very protective over her, sometimes people can't even LOOK at her without him thinking they just might TAKE her from us. He lights up my world just by smiling at me. He stole my heart the day we met! Speaking of Quincy and his LOVE for Poco and Tractors...
I had to take him out to watch Papa, Uncle Derek and all the other Cowboys wein the baby calves. He got to watch them load them on Mike's big TRUCK. He always has so much fun on the farm or just being with Papa feeding the cows, driving tractor or fixing fence. Melts my heart the way he looks at my Dad and how my Dad will do anything for Quincy. They are best buds and I hope it continues as Quincy grows into a young man.
Jazmyne Rose joined our lives October 9th 2010, she is now 6 weeks old and I can't believe how fast it has already gone by. She is the sweetest most precious lil girl but of course I might be a lil biased. She has filled my heart with love and joy and so blessed to call her mine. She weighed 8lbs 1 oz 19 3/4 inches long and now she is up to 10lbs 3 oz 22 1/2 inches long. Quincy loves his baby sister and is so much help sometimes. She already has a very PROTECTIVE big brother, guess this Momma won't have to worry as much about boys that way haha!! She is starting to coo and SMILE, which brings a smile to my face. How blessed am I to have a SON and DAUGHTER!!

Excited I finally got a blog set up, to share the stories of our lives with friends and family who are near and far. I hope Im good at blogging as often as I can, just depends on how the day goes I guess. Our lives have gotten alot busier this year as Quincy became a BIG BROTHER to his new lil SISTER Jazmyne. My life is perfect and thats all because of my amazingly wonderful children. All 3 of us are so blessed to have family and friends close that care so much about us they are always there when we need them. Being a single Mom is hard at times but my kids make it all worth it when they smile at me and that tells me that I must be doing something right!!!
