Quincy Ray!!!

Quincy Ray is now 5 1/2 years old!!! Doesn't seem possible at all but its been one heck of a fun ride with him. He is still my little man who breathes, dreams and LIVES for the FARM! Country is in his heart and I wouldn't want it any other way. He is now in the second year of Preschool and will hopefully go to Kindergarten August 2014 haha fingers crossed anyways :) I'm starting to think that school will be a fight at times only because this little boy has been able to go to the farm since before he could talk and walk. After getting word that he looses focus and gets off on a farm talk while supposed to be learning at school, I used the FARM as a bribe that he wouldn't be going on his normal days if he couldn't be good at school!! So far its WORKED haha, probably not the best but I don't really know what else would have kept him focused.

Q gets to go hang out with Papa and Uncle Derek on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and he loves every second of it, he is starting to figure out oh hey Mom its FARM day haha. Most little boys play football and basketball or video games with their friends, not my guy you will find him with a rope or two in hand, boots and jeans on, ready to go to "work". He loves to farm, feed cows, help work calves, haul bulls....anything on the farm you can think of Quincy has probably done it. He now tells me he will be a bronc rider when he gets older...this MOMMA isn't so fond of that idea yet but we shall see when the time comes who WINS :)

Quincy became SEIZURE free as of February 2012 and got to be taken off his meds, it was probably the best news to ever hear!! And when I told him he didn't have to take pills anymore his face lit up and he smiled so big. I thank God everyday that he helped my son get through those 2 years and that he is healed up!!! It is so hard to describe what it felt like waiting everyday for him to have even just a small one because it would start time over and I feared that for him everyday. Each passing day without a seizure was a blessing for me and as time went on I learned to let that fear of them coming again out, I knew God would protect him and help us get through whatever came our way. I found my strength through my sons incredible bravery. God truly blessed my life and heart when I became his MOTHER, so blessed to call him my son.

Quincy is my sweet, kind hearted, full of love, tender, emotional, reserved, funny child. He has the BIGGEST heart for a 5 year old..he wants everyone to be happy...LOVES all...gets sad and cries at the smallest things (even movies) he gets that from ME and yet he is reserved and kept to himself unless he knows you. I LOVE ALL THOSE THINGS ABOUT HIM...

Here are some fun photos of Quincy!!
